Find world file (you know the path), choose a world, ringlet down to globe date so click object managers. Then yous will see a list of Object manager resources. You volition need to experiment which one is the i that y'all are looking for. To edit lot size you demand to click on ObjectManagerLotData, this resource shows size of the lot and its coordinates in the world. The biggest size of the lot tin can exist 64x64. Back Up YOUR FILES BEFORE EDITING! Credit goes to lunar-nelfean who shared their tutorial some time ago, but now information technology'due south deleted. Please, experiment at your own chance and back up your files.
| | Post past gi4ac0mo on Mar 1, 2020 12:49:40 GMT -5 I tried to do the aforementioned thing simply the lot size modify didn't prove upwards ingame. | | Post by baelien on Apr 24, 2020 23:49:43 GMT -5 I'm having issues resizing also... Been trying to resize key point in Sulani(EP07_Natural_Island_01). At showtime, I was having your issue, nothing happened in the game. And then I plant out that the world files were in multiple locations and figured the original file overrides my modded one, and so I tried replacing both. Still cipher. Cleared out the cache, nothing. And so I uninstalled the game, deleted every file and tried again. Replacing one and and then both files. Now I can't open Sulani at all - Even after removing the modded files and reinserting the original files. Idk why information technology isn't working, it's really frustrating. I've been trying a agglomeration of stuff for the last 6+ hours. I don't even need the bigger lot, I just wanted to expand the green area on the island, but since I tin can't find a modern that let's you paint grass exterior of the lot I figured this would be the best fashion.. I estimate not, since I've now lost all my saved files and have to reinstall the game a second fourth dimension. I wasn't super invested in any of the saved files, if information technology worked information technology would be worth it, but information technology didn't so now I have nothing.. | |

I tried making the 40x30 lot in Glimmerbrook bigger. (GP08_Village.world)I copied the file to another folder changed the value and replaced the file in the Game folder. I institute out you're supposed to export the edited file as a bundle and place information technology in mods, not replace the original in the game folder. The earth and area folders exist 2 places, replacing both of those with the edited i fucks upwards your game and replacing just one does nil. Install it as a regular mod subsequently exporting information technology every bit a package

Even when I become to the desktop folder, other programs come up, only not S4S Open S4S, create a new project, in the lesser right of the popup window there is a drop downwardly. Select .world. Then navigate to the folder where your globe is located. FYI the S4S icon on the desktop is just a shortcut. That'southward why it's not showing up as a selectable programme. You'll have to navigate to its install folder and locate its launch .exe. Just if the above instructions worked for yous, no need to do this anymore.

Install it as a regular mod subsequently exporting it as a package That definitely did something. Sort of. When I tried to export my changes, information technology would merely consign equally a .binary file. I assumed you meant "Save as .package". So I did that and added it to the mods folder, navigated to that neighborhood and boy oh boy, the terrain got effed upwardly. The house and the terrain objects were floating in the middle of the air, with the terrain mesh pushed upward in the air and off to one side or another. So, progress. I tin can't effigy out how to change the lot size of a specific lot. Whenever I navigate to where the size is entered it doesn't match any known lot size (ex 0000001E for LotDataSizeX and 00000014 for LotDataSizeZ. There was no Y). I checked multiple entries and none of them seemed to fit a standard grid size. Is someone able to provide an case or screenshot of where the edits need to exist made? I'thousand beginning to recollect I'one thousand in the wrong place. I followed the instructions provided by Feyona to a higher place.

When I tried to export my changes, it would only export as a .binary file. I causeless you meant "Save equally .package". I'm starting time to remember I'1000 in the incorrect place. I followed the instructions provided by Feyona to a higher place. You should be immune to export it as a package, at least I am able to practise that. I'm running into the same problem though, the terrain gets messed upwardly and the lot stays the same size.. are you exporting all the files, or just the edited file? Sounds like you're in the right place, it's like that for me likewise. Yeah, none of the sizes in the files lucifer the sizes in the game, simply during trial and fault and trying on unlike lots I've plant that 40 in the file is 64 in the game, 32 is l, 28 is twoscore, fourteen is xxx and 1E is xx if I'k remembering correctly. There'due south a nice reference index hither; www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/forum/index.php?topic=29518.msg475356#msg475356 You tin compare in game sizes to in folder sizes and kind of put ii and two together, similar I did
| | Post by emigiggles on May four, 2020 11:07:eleven GMT -five I'm having problems likewise with this. I can't export equally a parcel, just as a binary, just I am able to save it every bit a packet. When I do this and save the package to the Mods folder, it messed up the terrain in-game just like jackx36. Regarding the lot dimensions in the data files, they're in hex and can be converted to decimal. In hex, 14 is twenty, 1E is 30, 28 is 40, 32 is 50 and xl is 64. | |
