There are several different mob heads available in Minecraft. Steve, Enderman, Creeper, Ender Dragon and Wither Skeleton Skulls are available in all vanilla Minecraft versions.

There are different ways to collect these, but the easiest way is to access the Creative menu. However, there are other heads that the player can obtain through non-vanilla methods.

Currently, the only version of Minecraft support any of these is Java Version. Unfortunately, Bedrock players can't get custom heads yet. Here's how to get them on Java Edition.

Because the Java version players, they can access the top of Minecraft to download. Here's how to do it.

  • Command blocks must be enabled on the world or the server.
  • An active Internet connection is also required.
  • Command blocks are the only way to get these. A command cannot provide custom headers. Players will need to be a Moderator and use Creative Mode.
  • Players need to use the correct version of Minecraft to get custom heads.
  • For the solo world: The player can press the escape key, activate the LAN world, turn the world into Creation, and finally, trigger world cheat.
  • If all else fails, the player can try using the /minecraft:give command instead of the usual /give command.

The command is too long for the conversation, so it must be entered in a command block. Here's how to use the command block for custom headers:

  1. The Player needs to be an Operator. The game needs to be in Creative mode and the player can then summon the command block with: "/give @p minecraft: command_block 1".
  2. Place command blocks anywhere in the world.
  3. Open the interface for the command box.
  4. Enter the head command in the box that says "Console Command".
  5. Power the command block with a button, lever, redstone torch, or redstone block.
